Global EOR

According to the Oil & Gas Journal’s Worldwide EOR Surveys, the volume of oil produced by EOR methods doubled from 1982 to 1990 (1.2 million barrels per day). In 2008 world EOR production climbed to approximately 2 million barrels per day with more than 350 active projects. There were over 30 EOR projects in the planning stages in 2008. Today EOR accounts for 3% of world oil production.
